Dale Geminder

Executive Director

Dale Geminder has been working professionally in video production and news for over 33 years. Since 1991, he has been the Executive Director of AccessVision, where Dale has an extensive background in fundraising and grant writing. As an accomplished videographer, Dale has won countless awards with the National Press Photographers Association, Associated Press, ADDY Awards and Alliance for Community Media. For his managerial work, Dale was recognized by Who’s Who in Executives and Professionals. Dale has a Bachelor of Science in Television Production from Ferris State University and served two terms as an At-Large Battle Creek City Commissioner.

Tom Morris

Playback/Facility Coordinator

Tom comes from a background in retail sales and management. With an associate degree in Business Management from KCC, he has spent the last four years in the video production field. Tom has been a volunteer for AccessVision in the past, shooting various community and sporting events. Tom enjoys the process of non-linear editing and post production, as he is an Apple Certified Pro in Final Cut Pro X, Level Two.

Jeffery Smith

Production Manager

Jeff is a graduate of Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI in the area of Television and Digital Media Productions. Jeff came to AccessVision in 2006 as a Production Specialist in charge of the after-school video production class for Battle Creek Central students. He left in 2008 and returned in 2010. During his brief time away, he worked at a CBS affiliate and CCTV, a PEG station, both in Cadillac, MI. Jeff is currently in charge of government meetings and high school sports, as well as assisting volunteers and maintaining equipment here at AccessVision. In his off-hours, Jeff enjoys working on classic cars, collecting comic books and listening to music. He occasionally incorporates his hobbies into new programming by producing local concerts and car shows. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Stacey, and together they have 2 daughters, both in college, a granddaughter, 2 dogs, 2 cats and 4 parakeets.

Vickie Dunn

Programming/Office Manager

Vickie Dunn has worked as Programming/Office Manager at AccessVision for nearly 25 years. From coordinating social events to balancing the books, she finds her diverse position to be both stimulating and gratifying. Her prior experiences working at credit unions and banks enhance her ability to work well with a vast array of individuals, and that's what she finds most rewarding in her present position, as she works with AccessVision volunteers. As a graduate of Argubright Business College, Vickie has utilized her secretarial and accounting skills to fill her unique position.

Jason Augenstein

Projects Coordinator

Jason Augenstein has been working professionally in video and multi-media production for over 25 years. Since 2001, he has been teaching television production workshops at AccessVision and producing award-winning programs for organizations such as Battle Creek Community Foundation and United Way Of Greater Battle Creek. Jason has also done freelance multimedia work for Kellogg Company and others. His experience with businesses and non-profits alike has given him a unique perspective on what it takes to get the job done. With a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunication from Michigan State University, Jason spent the latter half of the 1990's creating videos at a local marketing/communications company. There he worked on a variety of projects, from teleprompting President Ford to editing corporate training videos, TV spots and everything in between.
